 Bumblebee and bee plants

A mix of spring, summer and autumn flowering plants that are good sources of pollen and nectar for bumblebees and bees is beneficial for creating a large population. Plants in late winter and early spring are particularly important. Less well known is the benefit of wood-dwelling fungi for the bees' immune system, which can counteract bee death. It is very beneficial to immitize (or let nature take its course) older forests with a breeding ground for, among other things, red-banded cuckoo and crayfish cuckoo. More info on this will be available later under fungi.

The list below includes plants that are particularly rich in pollen and/or nectar
